An inaugural lecture by Professor JP Singh

The Art of Negotiating Markets and Development:

How do the weak stand up to the strong? The inaugural presentation evaluates the ways in which the poor, the weak, and the less privileged – especially from the Global South – have stood up to authority and governance in shaping their economic futures. Economic and cultural representations help us understand the voice and agency of the weak.
